RESOLUTION REQUESTING SAN FRANCISCO HARBOR LINE
BOARD TO ESTABLISH t~ARBOR LINES IN THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
WHEREAS the City o.f South San Francisco 'is situated upon the Bay of San Francisco
and is an industrial community where many factories are located; and
~IEREAS development of navigation in the portion of said Bay of San Francisco lying
within said City of South San Francisco will be advantag.eous to the growth and development
of said city; and
WHEREAS the establishment of harbor lines in said city is essentiaI to port development
in said city and to the service of said city through navigation; and
WHEREAS the City Council of said City of South San Francisco believe that the lines
shown as proposed picrhead lines on the m~p showing pierhead lines to be established
within the City of South San Francisco, California, which map was approved by
resolution adopted by said City Council on the ~0th day of January, 1936, will adequately
serve and protect the public interests;
RESOLVED by the Cit~ Council of the City of South San Francisco that the San
Francisco Harbor Line Board be, and said San Francisco Harbor Line Board hereby is
requested to establish harbor lines at the locations shown upon said map.

I hereby ~ertify that the~ foregoing resolution was ~e~ularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the Cit~~ of South San Francisco this ~0th day of July,
1958, by the following vote:
