SOUTH INDUSTRIAL AREA 0F THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAI~ FR~E ISC 0.
~MEREAS the City Council of the City of~South San Francisco did, in open
session, on the 19th day of October, 19~6, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed
proposals or bids for doing the following public work in said cit~, to-wit: The
construction of a sanitary sewer in the South Industrial Area of said City .of South
Sau ~rancisco;
R~SOLVED that sai~ Clt2 Council hereb~ rejects all of sald proposals or blds,
except that next hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for dolng said
work to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: Harvey E. Conner, at the prices named
in his bid, to~wit:
Item A: Construction of two hundre~ and seven (~07) lineal feet, more or
less, of eighteen (18) inch diameter vitrified salt glazed pipe sanitary sewer,
including all incidental work, Trio and ~O/100 Dollars I~..B0) per lineal foot:
Item B: Construction of twenty-four ~) lineal feet, more or less, of eighteen
~18) inch diameter cast-iron pipe sanitar!F sewer, including all incidental work, Five Dollars
~$~.00) per lineal foot;
Item C: Construction of ~ne (1) standard brick manhole, capped'with cast-iron
ring and cover, Seventy Dollars (~0.00).
Reference is hereb.~ made to the resolution of said city council ordering said
work, which resolution was adopted on the E3rd day of ~eptember, 19Z6. The contract for
said work shall be entered into and said work shall be perforn~_ed in strict accordance with
the terms of said resolution, the plans~and specifications therefor and the notice
inviting sealed proposals for said YFork.
The mayor and the city clerk of said city are hereby authorized, in behalf of
said City of South San Francisco, to execute with said Harvey E. Conner the contract
hereby? awarded.

~ hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the Cit,~ Council of the Cit~ of South San Frar~cisco this E1 day of October,
19~6, by the following votes:
