%- CENT GAS TAX ON STATE HIGHWAYS WITHIN
CITIES.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of section 203 of the Streets
and Highways Code, the Department of Public works of the State of California shall
expend or cause to be expended from the State Highway Fund an amount not less than
the net revenue derived from the one-quarter cent per gallon tax on motor vehicle
fuel on state highways within cities, in the proportion that the total population
of each city bears to the total population of all cities in this state;
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said
city enter into an agreement with the State of California Department of Public
Works to provide for the expenditure of the one-quarter (4) cent gas tax fund on
State Highways for the 1936-193V biennium in the City of South San Francisco.
The Mayor of said city sand the city clerk are heroby amthortzed and direct-
ed, in the name of said city and under its corporate seal to execute the agreement
hereby authorized.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco on the Bnd day of
November, 19Z6, by the following vote:
