BILL NUMBER 19,39 BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS Assembly Bill number 1959 authorizes a suit or suits against the
State of California to quiet title against it to that certain real property situate
in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Marco, State of California, and
described as follows:
PARCEL I.
That certain parcel of land situate in the City of South San Francisco,
County of San Mateo, State of California, and bounded by the following described line:
BEGINNING at point 24 on the Southerly boundary line of the Navigable
Slough in Sections 2V and 28, Township 3 South Range $ West Mount Diablo base and
meridian, as said point and Slough are shown'~on that certain map entitled, "Map of
a Survey made for P. E. Iller of La~ds Purchased in the Burl Buri Rancho and Sections
21, 22, 23,,24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 T 3 S R 5 W," filed for record in Book E of Maps
at page 79, San Mateo County Records; thence from said point of beginning along the
Southerly, Westerly, and Northerly boundary li~nes of said Navigable Slough South _
75° IV' 50# West 171.60 feet, North 89° 27' 30" West.22V.70 feet, North V9o 2VI 30"
West 511.50 feet, North 54° 2V' 30" West 58~.78 fest, North 25° 42' 30" East
feet, South 51o 10' 30" East 483.12 feet, South 81 51' 30" EaSt 547.80 feet, North
89o 32' 30" East 448.$0 feet, and North 53° 32t 50" East 4.02.8V' to a point in the
Southwesterly boundary line of that certain State Highway designated IV S. M. 68 B,
being more commonly known as the Bayahore Highway; thence leaving said boundary line
of said Navigable Slough South 25° 25' 30" EaSt along said Southwesterly boundary line
of said Highway 95.53 feet to a point in the Southerly bound ary line of said Navigabl,
Slough; thence leaving .said Sout~e~terly boundary line of ~said Highway and along the
Southerly boundary ~ine of said Navigable Slough sOUth 54° 4V' 30" West 512 .9$ 'feet
to the point of beginning, containing 6.1760 acres, more or less, and being ~a part
of the Navigable Slough in Section L~7 and 28, Township 5 South Range 5 West, Mount
Diablo base and meridian, as said Navigable Slough is shown on the herein before

PARCEL II.
That certain parcel of land situate in the City of South San Francisco, Co~
of San Mateo, State of California, and bounded by the following described line:
BEGINNING at point 21 on the Southerly boundary line of the Navigable
Slough in Section 2V, Township 5 South Range 5 West Mount Diablo base and meridian,
as said point and Slough are shown on that certain Map entitled, ~Map of a Survey
Made for P. E. Iller of Lands Purchased in the Buri Buri Rancho and Sections 21, 22,
23, 24, 25, 28, 27, and 28, T 5 S R 5 ~," filed for record in Book E of Maps at page
79, San Mateo County Records; thence from saidpoint of beginning along the Southerly
boundary line of said Navigable Slough North81° 27' 50" West ~1.~0 feet to point
22, North ~8o 5~' 50"~West 584.12 feet to point ~$ and South 5~° 47' ~0" West
feet to a point on the Northeasterly boundary line of that certain State High~ay
designated IV S. M. $8B, being more commonly known as the Bayshore Highway; thence
leaving said boundary line of said Navigable Slough North 2 5° 25' 50" West, along
said Northeasterly boundary line of said Highway 142.5~ fe et to a point in the
Northerly boundary line of said Navigable Slough; thence 1 eaving the Northeasterly
boundary line of said Highway and along the northerly bound ary line of said
Navigable Slough North 52° 02' ~0" East 185.V5 feet to point 18, North V2o 02' 50"
East 51~.~$ feet to point IV, North 89° 52' 30" East 287.50 feet to point 1~,
South 55° 57' 80" East 2V9.84 feet to point 15 and South 80° 42' 50" East 555.25
feet to point 1~; thence leaving the said Northerly boundary line of said Navig-
able Slough South 12o 49' 50" West 2~8.~5 feet to the point of beginning;con-
taining 8.V92 acres, more or.less, and being a part of the Navigable Slough in
Section 2V, Township ~ South Range 5 West, Mount Diablo base and meridian, as
said Navigable Slough is shown on the herein before mentioned map; and
WHEREAS in the ever~of the adoption of Assembly Bill number 1938,
it may become necessary to commence an action to quiet the title to the land here-
inbefore described, in order to render title to said land marketable;
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
said City Council recommends the adoption of Assembly Bill number 1959 by the
legislature of the State of California·
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Senator HaxTy L. Parkman and Assemblym~n
He W~ Call be, and they hereby are~respectfully~e~uested to give their support
to the passage of said bill.

troduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this
