AUTOMOBILE FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
public interest and convenience require that said city purchase a new automobile
for the fire department of said city.
The city clerk of said city is hereby directed to publish by two
(2} insertions in UThe Enterprise and The South San Francisco Journal," a news-
paper of general circulation printed and published in the City of South San
Francisco, the following ~oti~e inviting sealed proposals or bids for such auto-
mobile:
NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS
OR BIDS FOR FURNISHING AN AUTO-
MOBILE TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANC ISC0.
Sealed proposals will be received by the city council of the City
of South San Francisco until 8:00 o'clock p. m. on Monday, the 19th day of April,
195V, for furnishing to said city, for use in the fire department of said city,
an automobile designed as follows:
Ford De Lume Fordor Touring Sedan, 85 horse power, painted f~re depart merit red
and fully equipped.
Sealed proposals or bids will b e delivered to the city clerk
on or before 8:00 o'clock p. ~. on Monday, the 19th day of April, 195V. Ail
sealed proposals or bids will b e opened by said city council in public session
on Monday, the 19th day of April, 195V, at 8:00 o'clock p. m. in the council
chamber of said city council. The city council hereby reserves the right to
reject any and all bids.
