ABATEMENT OF WEEDS
WHEREAS on the 8th day of June, 1957, the city council of the City of
South San Francisco adopted a certain r~solution directing the publication of
a notice calling for sealed proposals or bids for the removal of all weeds in
the parking areas and the areas between sidewalks and property lines of the
streets shown upon the platted areas qf the City of So~th San Francisco on
which areas weeds may exist at the time of the execution of the agreement, as
contemplated in said resolution, to which resolution reference is hereby made
for further particulars; and
WHEREAS said city council did, in open session, on the 21st day of
June, 1937, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids
for said work;
RESOLVED that said City Council rejects all said proposals or bids,
except that next hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for
the removal of said weeds to the lowest responsible bidder, towit: Joe Galli
and Pete Baratteri, for the sum of Two cents ($0.02) per lineal foot, the
price named in their bid.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 21st
day of June, 1937, by the following vote:
