~R~S the city council of thc Clty of South San ~ranct soo did~ In open
sesston~ on the 15th day of November, 193V, publicly open~ examine and declare all
sealed proposals or bids for doing the following work in said clty, to-wit: The
Improvement of Linden Avenue from a point four hundred (400) feet south of Railroad
Avenue to a point twenty-nine hundred (2900) feet south of Railroad Avenue, by g~ad-
lng and pavlng said po~tlon of Linden Avenne~ at the location shin: upon the plans
forming a part of the plans and specifications hereinafter mentt ened~
RESOLVED by the city counc11 of the City of South San Francisco that said
ctty council hereby rejects all said bids, except that next hereinafter mentioned,
and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responslbl® bldder,
to-wtt: Union Pavlng Co. a corporation, at the prices name~ tn its bld, to-wit:
Seven thousand eight hundred forty-five a~t no/100 Dollars

plans and specifications for said work adopted by said city council on the 1st day of
November~ 193V~ and under the supervision and to the satisfaction of the city engineer
of said city. -
The mayor and the city clerk are hereby authorized and directed, in the name of said
city and 'under its seal, to execute the contract hereby awarded.
