LAND AND IMPROVEMENT COMPANY.
ResOlved by the city council of the City of South S~ l~ancisco that sa id'
city enter i~te an agreement with South San l~anoisce Land and Improvement Company
whereby' said city shall cause a stox~ water and sanitary sewer to be constructed
in the location for such sewe~ shown upon the map entitled ePlan fe~ construction
of stol~a water conduit and sanitary sewer South San l~ancisce California scales as
noted Nay 1937 George A. Eneese City Engineer", which map is now in the office ef
· the City Clerk of said city, in which agreement said South San F~ancisco Land mad
Improvemevnt' Company will agree to pay to said city of South San l~ancisce the sum
of Seventy eight Hundred ~olla~s (S7800,00) as a pa~t of tM cost of the con-
struction of such sewer, Such agreement shall further p~ovide that said work shall
be completed within 275 days following the 29th day of November, 1~37, and that
said South San F~anoisco Land .a~d Imprev. ement Company shall deposit said su~ of
Seventy-eight Hundred Dollars ($7800,00J in esox~w with the Bank of South San
F~ancisco, at South. San Francisco, California with instructions to said bank t o
deliver said sum of money to said City of South San F~ancisco at the time ~hen
the city engineer of said city shall deliver te said Bank of South San F~ancisce
his certificate showing that the construction of said sewer has been co~leted,
provided that said work sb~ll be completed within said last mentioned period of
time. The mayor and the city clerk of said city are hereby a~thorized and direct-
ed, in the name of said city and under its seaX, te execute such agreement.
