RESOLUTION DESIGNATING COMPANIES FROM WHICH
OILS AND GASOLINE SHALL BE PURCHASED IN 1938 .
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said
City Council hereby desginates Union Oil Company of Caltfornias Standard Oil
Company of California, Richfield Oil Company of Callfomia, Shell Oil Company,
Associated Oil Company, Gilmore Oild Company, the Texas Company, Seaside Oil
Company and Rio Grande Oil Company, as the oil companies from which said city shal
purchase gasoline and oil ~ux~ng the remainder of the year 1938. The quantities
of gasoline and oil to be purchased shall be divided as nearly equally as may be
reasonably possible among the above named companiese
The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed, in the
name of said city and under its corporate seal, to execute an agreement with
each of said oil companies, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the city council of the city~ of South San Francisco, this l?th
day of January, 1938, by the following vote:
