SAN FRANCISCO PROVIDING FOR HOLDING A GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION IN SAID CITY ON THE 12th DAY OF APRIL, 19~8.
RESOLVED by the City council of the City of South San Frauei sc~ that, for the
purpose of holding the general municipal election in said city on ~he 12th day of
April, 1938, as provided by law, said city be, and the same hereby is divided into
five (5) election precincts to be known as Consolidated Voting Precinct "A", Con-
solidated Voting Precinct "B", Consolidated Voting' Precinct "C", Consolidated Vot-
ing Precinct "D" and Consolidated Voting Precinct "E", respectively.
Consolidated Toting Precinct "A" shall include all the territory described
in South Sa~ F:anctsco Precinct No. l, South San Francisco Precinct No. 2 and South
S~ Francisco Precinct No. 3, as established by that certain resolution~entitled
"Resolution and ox~ler dividing San Mateo County into election precincts and estab-
lishing boundaries thereof," passed and adopted ~y the~ Boar~i of Supervisors of the
Cousty of San Mateo, California, on the 17th day of November, 193~, and recorded in
Volume 34 of the minutes of said Board of Supervisors at page 318 et seq., and the
polling place for said Consolidated Voting Precinct "A" shall be in Parente's Garage
at No. 123.0range Avenue, in said City of South San Francisco.
Consolidated .Voting Precinct "B" shall include all the territory described in
South San Francisco Precinct No. 4, South San Franciaco Precinct No. 5 and South San
Francisco Precinct No. 6, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of Sa~ Mateo, and the polling place for said Consolidated Voting
Precinct "B" shall be in Cavass~s Garage at No. 478 Baden Avenue, in s~id City.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "C" shall include all the territory describe d in
South San Francisco Precinct No. 7, South San Francisco Precinct.No. 8 and South. San
Francisco Precinct No. ll, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Consolidated
Voting Precinct "C" shall be in Blondint's Store, at No. 513 Linden Avenue, in said
City.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "D" shall include all the territory describe d
in South San Francisco Precinct No. 9 and South San Francisco Precinct No. 12, as
established by said resolution of the Board of Supervisors of said County o2 San Mateo,
and the polling place for said Consolidated Voting Precinct "D" shall be in Bellone's
Garage at No. ~09 California Avenue, in said City.
Consolidated'Voting Precinct "E" shall include all the territory described in
South San Francisco Precinct No. 10 and South San Francisco Precinct No. 13, as
established by said~resolution of the Board of Supervisors of said County of San
Mateo, and the polling place for said Consolidated Voting Precinct "E" shall be in
Capitel~t's office at No. 222 Linden Avenue, in said City.

established by said resolution of the Board of Supervisors of said County oi~ San Mateo,
and the polling place for said Consolidated Voting Precinct "D" shall be in Bellone's
Garage at No. 209 California Avenue, in said City.
Consolidated'Voting Precinct "E" shall include all the territory described in
South San Francisco Precinct No. 10 and South San Francisco Precinct No. 13, as
established by said. resolution of the Board of Supervisors of said County of San
Mateo, and the polling place for said Consolidated Voting Precinct "E" shall be in
Capitel~'s office at No. 222 Linden Avenue, in said City.

At said general municipal election the polls in each of said Consolidated
Voting Precincts shall be opened at six (6) o'clock a. m. of the day of the election
and shall be kept open until seven (7) o'clock p. m. of said day, when the polls shall
be closed.
A sufficient nember of ballots shall be and is hereby directed to be prep ared
and caused to be printed for said precincts as provided by law and upon the proper
kind of paper, to-wit: ,the same as used at the general elections in the State of Calif_L
ornta, by the Clerk of the City of South San Francisco and shall be furnished and pro-
vided for the use of the voters at said general election.
The City Clerk is hereby alse directed to proc~e the necessary voting booths and
see that they are properly erected and to secure all necessary election materials
supplies required by- law.
Said cit~ clerk is hereby directed to give notice of said election by.
publication thereof~once in ."The Enterprise and The S~u~h San Francisco Journal ,
a newspaper of general circulation, published and ed~m~ated in said city, in
the manner and form required by law.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the city council of the city of South San Francisco, this 8th day
of March, 19~8, by the following vote:
