OF SOUTH~ SAN FRANCISCO TO ~ILE AN APPLICATION
TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THHOUGH THE
FEDERAL EMERGENCY ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC WORKS
FOR A GRANT TO AID IN MiNANCING OF A RECREATION
CENTER BUILDING AND DESIGNATING SAID MAYOR TO
FURNISH SUCH INPORMATION AS THE GOVERNMENT MA Y
REQUEST.
BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the Cit~ of South San Francisco:
Section 1. That the mayor of ~said city be, and he is authorized to execute.~~t~~' '
an application on behalf'of the city of South San Francisco to ~the United State of Americ
for a grant to aid in financing the construction of a recreation center building.
Section 2. That A. J. Eschelbach, as ma~or of said city,be and he is hereby author-
ized and directed to furnish such information as the UnitedState of America through the
Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works for a grant to aid in financing of a
recreation center building may reasonably request in connection with the application
which is hereby authorized to be filed.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the city council of the city of South San Francisco, this 27th day of June, 1938,
by the following vote:
