A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY 0 F SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO TO FILE AN APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES
OF AMERICA THROUGH THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY ADMINISTRACTION
OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR A GR~.NT OF AID IN FINANCING THE CON-
STRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF BUILDINGS, INCLUDING A
SWIMMING TANK, APPURTENANCES, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS,
FOR A RECREATION CENTER FOR SAID CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRAN-
CISCO.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco:
Section 1. That the Mayor of said City of South San Francisco , be and he
is hereby authorized to execute and file an application-on ~mhalf of said City
of Sout~ San F~ancisco to the Umited States of America for a g~ant of aid in
financing 'the construction and completion of buildings, including a swimming
tank, appurtenances, equipment and furnishings, for a recreation center for said
City of South San Francisco.
Section 2. That the Mayor of said city of Soath San Francisco be, and he
is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information as the United States
of America through the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works may reason-
ably request in connection with the application which is herein authorized to be

The foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Counci; of the City.of.South San Franciseo, this 5th-day of July, '1 938, by the
following vote:
