RES01.UTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF SEWERS IN THE CITY PARK ADDITION IN THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
WHEREAS the city council of the city of South San Francisco did, in open
session, on the $~h day of Augus$,. 1938, publicly open, examine and declare
all sealed proposals or bids for doing the following work in said city, to-wit:
The construction of sanitary sewers in the city Park Addition:
RE~~ by the 'city council of.the City of South San Francisco that said
city council hereby rejects all said bids, except that next here inafter mentioned
and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible
bidder, to-wit:
Harvey E. Conner at the prices named in his bid, towit:
Six (6) inch diameter vitrified clay pipe sanitax-y sewers, fifty-seven
cents per lineal foot;
Four (4) inch diameter vitrified clay pipe lateral sewers, fifty-fou~
cents (SA) per lineal foot;
Six (6) inch by four (4) inch diameter vitrified clay pipe wye branches,
$1.00 per each branch;
Manholes with cast iron frames and covers $62.50 per each ~manhole;
One drop manhole with cast-iron frame and cover $62.50for that manhole
All work herein provided for shall be performed strictly ina ccordance
with the plans and specifications for said work adopted by said city council
on the 25th day of July, 1938e
The mayor and the city clerk are hereby authorized and directed, in the
name of said city and under its seal, to execute the contract hereby awarded.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the city council of the city of South San Francisco this 8th day of
August, 1938, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen V. Boido, A. J. Eschelbach, M. Minucciani, D. W. Ratto
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Councilmen None
