RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
EXCAVATION OF CHAN}~EL OF C0I~IA CREEK.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisdo did, in open
session, on the 22nd day of August, 1938, publ'_cly open, examine and declare all seal
proposals or bids submitted for excavation of channels of Colma Creek, in said City;
RESOLVED by the City Council of said City of South San Francisco that said'
Council hereby rejects all said bids, except that next hereih mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract to the excavation of said channels of Colma Creek to the lowest
responsible bidder, ti-wit, to L. C. Smith at the prices named in his b~d. to-wit:
Excavation of channels, six cents ($0.06) per cubic yard; moving materzai for spoil
bank, three and one-half cents ($.035) per cubic yard.
All said work shall be done strictly in accordance with the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted for said .~ork and to the satisfaction of the city
en~neer of said city of South San Francisco.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed, in the name of
said city and under its seal, to execute the contract hereby awarded.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intmduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 21st day of Sept
1'g38, by the following vote:
