STREET SWEEPER
RESOLVED by the city council of the city of South San Francisco that said city pur-
chase of Knox-Hale Machinery Co. one Austin-Western Patrol Sweeoer, including one extra
gutter broom segment and one extra filled core, for the sum of Three Thousand Eight Hundred
and Thirty-five Dollars (~8,838.00), f. o. be South San ~¥ancisco, Californiae The con-
tract for the purchase of said sweeper shall provide that said city shall pay to said Knox-
Hale Machinery Compauy, the sum of Five Hundred Dollars (~$00.00 upon the delivery of said
sweeper to said city and tl~at t~ balance of said purchase price, less a discount of two (2)
per cent upon said purchase price, shall be paid on or before the Z0th day of J~nuary, 198~.
The Mayor and the city clerk of said city are hereby authorized and directed, in the
name of said city and under its se~l, to execute an agreement with said Knox-Hale Machinery
Co., in accordance with the terms of this resolution, for the purchase of said sweeper.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the city council of the city of South San Francisco, this Vth day of November, 19~8,
by the following vote:
