RESOLL~ION EMPLOYING HENRY H. g-IF~TERSON AS ARCHITECT
FOR ADDITION TO PU'i~LIC LIBRARY
RESOLVED by the city council of the city of South San Francisco that
itenry H. Gutterson, be~ and he is hereby employed as an architect to prepare
and furnish to said city of South San Francisco all plans and specifications
necessary for the construction of an addition to the existing public library
building in said city of South San Francisco and to supervise the construction of
such addition, in the event that said city council shall award a contract for
the construction of such addition. In the event that a contract may be award-
ed for such work~ said _Henry H. Gutterson shall receive as compensatSon for
all his services in connection with the preparation of such plans and
specifications and the supervision of the construction of such addition, a s~m
of money which shall be six (6) per cent of the contract Frice for said wot]z,
after deductins~ from said sum of money the s~m of Four Hundred Thirty-eight and
7,1/100 (~.~458.71j, whlcti stuu has heretofore been paid by said City of South San
Francisco to said Henry H. Gutterson. If~ for any reason, a contract may not
be awarded for the construction of such addition to said public library build-
ing, the compensation for said Henry H. Gutterson shall be the sum of Seven
Hundred and Twenty Dollars (~i~20.00), ~iminished by said sLuu of Four Hundred
Thirty-eizht and 71/100 Dollars (:~438.71) paid to said Henry H. g~.tterson,
as aforesaid.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was re7ularly introduced and
adopted by the city council of the city of South San Francisco~ this 1st day
