WHEREAS weeds are now growing upon the streets of the City of South San Francisco
as follows, to-wit:
Armour Avenue from the westerly line of San Bruno Road to the easterly line of 01~
Avenue; aspen Avenue for the full lehgth thereof; Pine Avenue from the westerly line of Ss
Bruno Road to the weaterly end of said Pine Avenue; California Avenue from the westerly

RESOLVE~ by the city council of the city of South San Francisco that the weeds
growing on all the portions of the streets hereinbefore described be, and the smme hereb'

All lots of land fronting upon Circle Court as that street appears on the map of City
Park Addition, South San Francisco~ San ~..'~ateo County, California, which map was filed in
the office of the county recorder of the county of San I'.Iateo~ California, July ~0,
in Book 91 of ~{aps at page ~9.
There is excepted from the streets mud avenues hereinbefore described, all paved por-
tions thereof and all sidewalk areas and areas of existing driveways which are covered with
concrete or other sidewalk material. There is also excepted from said streets and avenues
portions thereof upon which, for any cause, weeds are not now growing, or from v~b_ich the
weeds ha~e been removed prior to the date of~ the 'passage of this resolution. There is also
excepted from the land hereinbefore described all ].and in front of which the entire area
between the curb and corresponding property line is covered by a ~dewalk, and also all land
in front of which weeds have been removed prior to the date of the passa.zo of this resolution
and all land in front of which weeds are not now ~jrowing and do not now exist.
The Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed to cause to be conspicuously
posted in front of all property in front of which~s aid muisance exists, and not more
than one hundred (100) feet in distance apart, but not less than three (S) in all,
notices headed "Notice to Destroy Weeds" in the manner and form required by law.
All of the herein proposed work of abating said nuisance shall be done in
pursuance of an act of the Legislature of the State of California entitled "An Act
authorizing municipalities to declare noxious or dangerous weeds growing upon the
streets or sidewalks, or upon private property within municipalities, to be a
public nuisance, creating a lien upon the property fronting upon such streets or
sidewalks or upon w!~ich such nuisance exists for the costof abating the same",
