HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 756-1940252 Nos ?56 P~ES~iUTION ANARDING CONTRACT FOR AUTOMOBILE ~ the city council of the City of South San ~ancisOo did, on the Gth day of May, 1940, duly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals for furnishing to said city a Buick sedan, model No. 4~0~.61,. a Lincoln Zephyr sedan and an 'Oldsmobile Custom~ Cruiser Touring sedan, series 90, , RESGLVED by the city council of the City of' South 2an F~ancisco t~at said city council does hereby reject all said sealed p~oposals, except that next hereinafter men- tioned, and hereby awards to F~ed Je Lautze the contract for furnishing to 'said city a Lincoln Zephyr Sedan automobile, of the typ hereinafter more pax-ticularly designated, for the sum of Seventeen Hundred and Thirty and 48/100 9ollars ($1730.48). ,Sai~ city counci~ hereby accepts the offer of said Fre~J. Lautze to purchase a Buick automobile now being used in the Police Department of said city, which auto- mobile is model 39-61 and beams engine No, 63579024, for the sum of Nine Hu~dre~ and Ten Dollars ($910.00)e Said last mentioned sum of money shall b e deducted from the sum of money first hereinbefore mentioned, and the warrant of said City of South San Francisco s~all be issued to said Fred J. Lautze for said sum of Eight Hundred and Twenty and 48/100 Dollars The automobile last hereinbefore mentioned, and to be acquired by said City of South 3an Francisco is designated as Lincoln Zephy~ Sedan fully equtpped~ The ma~or of said City of South San Francisco and the city clerk sine hereby authorizod and di~ected, in the name of said City of South San Francisco and under its corporate seal, to execute to said successful bidder all documents necessax-y to trans- fer the title to said Buick authmobile bearing engine Nos 6357902& from said City of South San F~ancisco to sai~l successful bidders - 0-0'0--0--0--0~0'0~ I hereby cex-~tfy th, t the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the city council of the city of South San Francisco, this 6th day of May, 1940, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen V.
