REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND ST.
VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY TO LOAN FUNDS FROM THE
DOWNTOWN CENTRAL REDEVELOPMENT AREA THEREBY
ALLOWING THE SOCIETY TO PURCHASE PROPERTY AND
CONSTRUCT A NEW FACILITY ON THE PURCHASED
PROPERTY, AND TO SELL THEIR PROPERTY AT 340-344
GRAND
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of
South San Francisco that the Redevelopment Agency hereby authorizes the preparation of an
agreement between the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco and St.
Vincent De Paul Society to loan funds totaling $1,030,000 from the Downtown Central
Redevelopment Area budget to allow the Society to purchase property, construct a new facility
and sell their present site within the City. The Executive Director is authorized to execute the
agreement, which substantially incorporates the terms set forth in Attachment "A", on behalf of
the Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the __
24 day of February, 1999 by the following vote:
AYES: Boardmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Mullin and Karyl
Matsumoto, and Mayor James L. Datzman
None
NOES:
Boardmember John R. Penna
