RESOLUTION AWARDING CON'iR~T FOR PAINrlI~ EXTERIOR AND
CERTAIN R00M£ WITHIN THE CITY HALL.
WHEREAS the city council of the City of South San Fra~ct~sco did, on the 5th
day of August, 1940, duly open, examine and declare all bids or proposals submitted for.
painting the exterior of th~ city hall, the conference room, chambers of the city j~dge,
chambers of the justice of theppeace, offices of the police department, clerk's office,
the office of the chief engineer of the fire department mud city engineer, chamber of commer
room and the toilets on the first and second flc. ors of said city hall;
Said city council hereby reSects all said bids, except t'hat next hereinafter men-
tioned, and hereby awards to Deemer & Deemer the contract for performing said work for the
sum of Nine Htundred and Thirty-four Dollars ($934.00) the price named in their bid.
All ~ork shall be done in accordauce with the specifications heretofore adopted
by said city council f~ said wokk. All such ~ork and materl als wed in connection there-
with shall be furnished under the direction and to the satisfaction of the building in-
spector of said city.
The ~yor and th~ ci~ clerk are hereby authorized and dirseted, in the name of
said city and under its seml, to execute the contract hereby awarded.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was r~gularly introduced and
adopted by th8 city council of the City of South San Francisco, this 23rd day of September
