WHEREAS the city council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session on
the 4th day of November, 1940, duly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals sub-
mitted for furnishing to said city a De Soto automobile of t~etype hereinafter designated;
RESOLVED by the city council of the City of South San Francisco that said city council
hereby awards .to Marto Volonte the contract for furnishing to said city a De Soto automobile
of t~etype hereinafter more particularly designated for the sum of Twelve Hundred and
Eighty-four and 70/100 Dollars ($1284.70).
De Soto automobile first hereinbefore refer~ed to is designated as'. De Soto six
cylinder custom four door sedan, model 1941, p~nted Fire i~opartmemt red and f~lly equipped.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
