RESOLUTION ZONING SOUTHWOOD
SUBDIVISION
RESOLVED by the city council of the City of south San Francisco that all those
certain lots of land numbered I to 90, inclusive, as designated on t~at certain map
entitled "Southwood Map No. 1 South San Francisco~ Calif.". which map was filed in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of Sam Mateo, November l, 1940, in Book
23 of Maps at page 8~ be, and the same a~e hereby zoned for residential purposes only.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by said city council t~at t~e land next hereinafter de-
scribed be, and t~e same is hereby zoned for retail business purposes only and shall a
no ttme be used for t~e operation of any factory or factories thereon.
The land last hereinbefore ~.~referned to consists of those certain tracts or
parcels of land situate in the County of San Mateo, State of California, and described
as fo llows, to-wit: -
BEGINNING at a point on the southwesterly line of E1 Camino Real, said point
being the northeasterly corner of t~at certain parcel of land conveyed to American
Homes Incorporated by deed recorded in Volume 909 of Official Records of t~e County ~of
San Mateo, at page 103; thence from said point of beginning north 28° 32' west along
the southwesterly line of E1 Camino Real 3§V.0§ feet to the .southeasterly line of the
leS13 acre parcel .conveyed to the City and County of San Francisco Dy deed recorded
in Volume V49 of Official Records of San Mateo County at page 14; thence south 83°
3~t~ west along the last mentioned line a distance of 243.34 feet to a point on the
easterly line of the Ban Francisco Tater Department 60 foot right of way; t~ence
southerly along the last mentioned line a distance of 288 feet more or less to a
point on the ~southeasterly line of the aforementioned parcel, conveyed to American.
Homes Inco.rporated; thence north 63° 28, east along the last mentioned line a distance
of 337.18 feet to the point of beginning.
Beginning at a point on the southwesterly line of E1 Camtno Real said
point beging the moat northerly ccrne~ of that certain parcel of land conveyed to
American Homes Inc.x~porat.ed by deed recorded in Volume 909 of Official Records of
San Mateo Eounty at page 103; thence from said~point of beginning and running al~ong
the northwesterly ~ine of said parcel south 61~ 20' 30" west 180 feet, south 88u
1~' 40" west llle43 feet and south 89° 3~' 30" west 2~ feet more or less to a point
on the northeasterly line of. the San Francisco Nater Department 80 foot right of way;
thence southeasterly along the last mentioned line a distance of ~0B feet more or
less to the no,westerly line of the 0.08 acre parcel conveyed to Spring. Valley Water
Company by deed recorded in Volume 13~ of deeds at page ~2§ San Mateo County Records;
thence northeasterly along the last mentioned line a distance of ?0~0§ feet more or
less to t~he southwesterly line of E1 Camino Real; thence north 26° 12' west along the
last mentioned li~e a distam~e of §10 feet more or less to the point of beginning.
I hereby certify that the foregoing ~esolution was regularly introduced
~d adopted by the city council of the City of South San Francisco, t~is 18th day of
November, 1940~ by t~e following vote:
