HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 789-1940 #?89 RESOLUTION AWARDING 00NTRACT FOR ~J ICK AUTO MOBILE WH~EREAS the city council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session, on tb~ 30th day of December, 1940, duly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals submitted for furnishing to said city a Buick Sedan automobile, Model No. 41-61; RESOLVED by the city council of the City of South San Francisco that said city council does he~reby reject all said sealed proposals, except that next herein- after mentioned, and here~by awards to Belli Motor Company the contract for f~rnish- ing to said city a Buick Sedan automobile of the type hereinafter designated. Said Buick automobile shall be fully ec~ipped. Said Belli Motor Company shall, without compensation, install upon said automobile the siren and red lights now on the auto- mobile next hereinafter mentioned. Said 'city council hereby accepts the offer of said Belli Motor Company to purchase the Buic~ automobile now owned by said City of South San Francisco and now used by the Police Department in said city, which automobile is designated as Model ~9-81 and bears engine No. 6~8020§4, for the sum of Five Hundred and Twenty-five Dollars ($820.00). Said last mentioned sum of money shall be deducted f~m the sum of money first hereinbefore mentioned, and a warrant of said City of South San Francisco shall be issued to said Belli Motor Company for the sum of One Thousand and Ninety and 4/100 Dollars ($1090.0~). The mayo? of said city of South San Francisco and t~e city clerk are here- by authorized and directed, in the name' of said City of South San Francisco and under its corporate seal, to execute to said smccessful bidder all documents ne- cessary to trarafe? the title of said Buick automobile bearing engine No.63602054 from said City of South San Francisco to said successful bidder. - O- O--O- O-- O- O- O- O- O- O-- I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the city council of the city of South San Francisco, this ~0th day of December, 1940, by the following vote: Ayes, Counc ilme~ Noes, Councilmen Absent, Councilmen (Seal), V.
