RESOLVED ~by the city council of the City of South San Francisco as follows:
Whereas it has pleased Almighty God in His invinite wisdom that Gladys Welte should
depart this life; and
WHEHEAS ~rs. Welte was th& wife of Alex J. Welte, the Chief Engineor of title Fire
Department of the City of South San Francisco, and was a resident of this conm~_~unity for
many years; and
WHEREAS Mrs. Welte was esteemed by all for her many virtues and her excellent
ideals and at all 'times exercised wholesome influence upon this community and upon all
those with whom she came in contact;~
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the sympathy
of this Council be extended to Alex J. Welte and to the other members of the fancily of
Mrs. Welte in their time of bereavement;
BE IT FUHT~LER RESOLVEI) that this resolution be entered upon the records of this
city and that a copy thereof be sent to Mr. Welte.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of ~outh San Francisco, this ~rd day of
