HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 797-1941# 7~7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FHANCISC0, COUNTY OF SAM MATE0, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, CONSENT- ING TO THE ENFORCEMENT OF PUBLIC ~EALTH STATUTES AND REGULATIONS BY THE HEALTH DEPART~IENT OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATE0 WHEREAS the city council of the City of South San Francisco has determined that public interest and efficiency will be best served when the enforcement of all statutes relating to the public health and to vital statistics and all rules prescribed by the State Board of Health is undert~cen by the San Mateo County Health Department, as provided in Section 4225 of the Political Code; NOW, THE~EFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the Dity of South San Francisco that said city council hereby consents to the extending of the Jurisdiction of the county health offimer and the County Health Department to said City of South San Francisco, and that, under and by virtue of the provisions of said section of the Political Code, the San Mateo County health officer is hereby authorized and impowered to enforce, within and throughout said City of South San Francisco, all statutes relating to the public health and to vital statistics and all rules and regulations prescribed by the State Board of Health;~ BE IT FURTHER HESOLVED that the board of supervisors of the County of San Matio is hereby requested to take all necessary steps in order to put this resolution into effect; BE IT FURTHER ~ESOLVED that the city clerk be, and he is hereby directed to serve a certified copy of this resolution forthwith on the clerk of the i!Board of Su~pervisors of said County of San Mateo. -0--0--0- 0-0- I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the city council of t~e City of South San Francisco, this 17th day ~ February~ 1941, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen V.
