RESOLVED by the city council of the City of South San Francisco as follows:
Pursuant to the pe.~mission granted in Section 459 of the Vehicle Code, Subdivision (g),
said city council hereby designates the following streets and avenues where the driver or operator
of any vehicle shall stop such vehicle before enterin~ u~on the respective streets or avenues
hereinafter named, as follows:
(q) Upon East Grand Avenue from Industrial Way, Atherton Avenue and
Bethlehem Lane.
(r) Upon Lux A~enue from Pine Terrace.
(s) I~on Spruce Avenue from Lux Avenue.
The chief of police ~s hereby authorized and required to place and maintain, or to be
caused to be olace and maintained, upon each and every street intersectin another stree~t, where
the operator is required to sto~ such vehicle, and at or near the propert~, line of such stree$

appropriate si ns m~oon ~ street or devices or ~arks in the roadways,, such s~/ns, devices or
mar~'s to bear the word "STOP" or the words "BOULEVARD STOP" in sumh ~osition and with le~tters

such other street.
