there is now nending in the Legislative, Assembly Bill No.831 and;
,~]~E'~,, ~.pon enactment of this Bill the St,-~te Department of ~ublic '~orks
and the CaIifornia Toll Bridge Authority ma~, enter into negotiations for acc~isition
by the 2ta. te of the 2an },~ateo and Dumb~,~rton Bridges;
NOT, T~EREFORE', be it resolved that th~ City Council of the Cit~- of South B~=n
Francisco urges the enactment of this legislation and the inclusion of these two bridges
within the st~te high~,~'a~ system which in +he langu~_~.ge of the Bill must be "on such terms
and conditions as ~ay be dealed for th~ best interests of the Btate%~."
