HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 822-1941RESOLUTION RESOLD~ION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR ROCK FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A BASE COURSE FOR PAVING ON GRAND AVENUE. WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session on the llth day of August, 1941, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for furnishing to said city crusher run rock; RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said city council hereby rejects all said bids, except that next hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for furnishing such crUsher run rock to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: J. S. Baker at the price named in his bid, to-wit: Eighty-nine (89) cents per cubic yard. All such rock must be furnished and delivered to said city in strict accordance with the specifications for such crusher run rock adopted by said council on the 30th day of July, 1941, and to the satisfaction of the city engineer of said city. The mayor and the city clerk are hereby authorized and directed, in the name of said city and under its seal, to execute the contract hereby awarded. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the city council of the City of South San Francisco, this llth day of August, 1941, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Noes, Councilmen V.
