RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR BUICK A?fO~,~.O'~3ILE
WS. EREAS the city council of the ~lty of South Sau rancmsco did~ in open session, on
the 20th day of October, 1941, duly open, examine and declare the only sealed proposal
submitted for furnishing to said city a Buick sedan automobile, model No. 42-~1;
RESOLVED by the city council of the City of South San Francisco that said city counc
hereby accepts said proposal and hereby awards to Belli ~otor Co. the contract for fur~
ishing to said city a Buick sedan automobile of the type hereinafter desi~ated. Said
Buick automobile shall be fully equipped and provided with seat covers. Said Belli
motor Co. shall, without compensation, remove from the Lincoln Zephyr automobile herei~
after mentioned and install upon said Buick sedan automobile the sire and red li.~hts
now on the Lincoln Zephyr automobile hereinafter mentioned.
Said city council hereby accepts the offer of said Belli ~m~iotor Co. to purchase the
Lincoln Zephyr automobile, bearing engine No. H103113, now owned by said city and used
in the police department of said city, for the sum of Seven Hundred and Fifty Dollars
(i~V50.00). Said last mentioned sum of money shall be deducted from the sum of money
first hereinbefore mentioned, and a warrant of said City of South San Francisco shall
be issued to said Belli Motor Co. for the sum of Eleven lhmdred and Seven and 35/100
Dollars (~ll07.35).
The mayor of said city of South San Francisco anal the city clerk are hereby authoriz~
and directed, in the name of said city of South San ~rancisco and u~der its corporate
seal, to execute to said successful bidde~ all doczuuents necessary to trm~sfer the tit:
of said Lincoln Zephyr automobile from said City of Sou-th San Frm~cisco to said succes~
ful bidder.
i hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the city council of the city of .South San Francisco, this 20th day of October, 1941~
