IN THE MATTER OF THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN EASEMENT
FOR PUBLIC USE IN PARADISE VALLEY ~UBDIVI~ION,
RESOLVE~ by the city council of t~e city of South San F~ancisco, a municipal cor-
poration in the County 0f San Marco, State of California, that public interest and con-
venience require and that it is the intention of said city council to order the follow-
ing public.work to be done in said city, to-wit:
That the easement for public use on the parcels of land hereinafter described
be vacated and closed up in wholee
The land hereinbefore referred to consists of all that certain parcel of land
situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California,
and particularly described as follows, to-wit:
A strip of land of the uniform width of 6 feet lying contiguous to and south-
westerly of the northeasterly boundax~y line ~ lot 14 of block 7, as the same are
delineated and so designated upon said map, and extending from the northwesterly bound-
a~y line of said lot 14 southeasterly to a line parallel with and distant Se0 feet
northwesterly from (measured perpendicularly to) the southeasterly boundary line of
said lot 14e
The map hereinbefore referred to is that certain map entibled "Subdivision Map of
· aradise Valley South San F~s_ucisco San Marco Coo Califeu, which map was filed in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of San Marco, Oalifornia, March 20,
in Volume 22 of Maps at .page
That it is unnecessary to take any land therefore
That the following described district of lar~ is hereby declared to be the
district benefited by said work and to be assessed to pay the c_osts and ex~nses there-
of and that said district is situated in the City of South San ~¥ancisco, County of San
Mateo, State of Califomala, 'ami particularly described as follows, to-wit:
BEGINNING at a point formed by the intersection of the northerly line of lot
numbered fourteen (14) in block numbered, seven (7), with the easterly line of Grove Ay.,
as shown: upon that certain mapaentitled:'Subdivision Map of Paradise Valley South
F~ancisco San Mateo Co. Calif_e , which map was filed in the office of the County Recorder
of the County of san Mateo, Oalifornia, March 20~ 1940, in Volume 22 of Maps at page
a~l r~u~ning thence easterly along said northerly line of numbered-fourteen (14), to the
eaaterly boundary line of said lot; thence southerly along the easterly boundary line
of said lot to the northerly boundary li~ of Hillside Boulevard; t~ence westerly along
the northerly line of Hillside Boulevard to the easterly line of Grove Avee; thence
northerly along the easterly line of Grov~ Ay. to the point of beginning, excepting
therefrom all ways an~ a~eas of any c~aracter dedicated to any public use.
All the herein proposed work shall be done in pursuance of Division 5 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
The street superintendent is hereby directed to cause to be conspicuously
posted along the line of said contemplated work or improvement, notices of the passage
of this resolution of intention in the manner and form required by lawe Said street
superintendent is likewise directed also to cause a notice similar in substance to
be published by three (~) insertions in aThe Enterprise", a weekly newspaper published
and circulated in said City of South San~Francisco, which newspaper is hereby deisgnated
by said city council as the newspaper in which said street superintendent's notice of
· passage of this resolution shall be published.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the city council of the city of South San Francisco, this ~rd day of
November, 1941, by t~e following vote:
