RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDGN AND DI~-
continue park laud.
RESOLVED by the city cou_ucil of the City of South San Francisco that it is the
intention of said city council to abandon and discontinue~as a park, all that certain
tract or parcel of land situate in the City of South San Francisco, County 'of San Mateol
State of California, and particularly described as follows, to-wit:
BEGINNING at a point on the northwesterly line of School Street said paint

1~1.5~ feet; thence southeasterly on a curve~with a radius of 103§.00 feet, 125.0~ feet~

O§~ east 44.08 feet; thence on a curve t~o the right with a radius of 365 feet, 283. o6
Teet, the chord of said last mentioned curve be~rs south 48° 52' east 2V6.02 feet; then~

of 'beginning; containing 4.694 acres. _.
S'aid city coun'cil hereby fir~s that said tract of laud is not appropriate,
convenien~ or necessary for park purposes; that such purporte~d park has not been used
by t~e public for park purposes; that no consideration has been paid tnere£o~ except
by said municipal corporation; and that np public funds have been expended to improve
the same as a park.
Said city council hereby fixes the 15th day of December, 1~tl, at the hour
of 8:00 o'clock p. m., in the council czmm~er of said city council, in the City of Scut2
San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, as the time and place when and
where said city council will meet to take final action upon the proposition to abandon
and discontinue suc~ purported park.
This resolution of intention shall be published once a week for three (3)
successive weeks prior to said 15th day of DeCemb~er, 1941, in "The Enterprise", a news-
paper of general circulation published in said City of South San Francisco.
The city clerk is ~ereby directed to cause this resolution to be published in
said newspaper, in the manner and form required by law and by this resolution.
The city engineer is hereby directed to post this resolution conspicuously alon~
the boundaries of the land hereinbefore described, which land is t~e purported park
proposed to be abandoned, not less than one hundred (il00) feet apart, but not less than
four (4) in all.
This resolution is adopted in pursuance of t~at certain act of the legislature
of the State of California entitled "An act to authorize municipal corporations to
abandon parks and sell and convey the land embraced therein," statutes of 19~9, Chapter
ll07.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the city council of the City of South San ~¥ancisco, this l~th day of
November, 19~l, by the following vote:
