RESOLUTION OF INTENTION T0 ABANDON AND DISCONTINUE
PARK LAND.
RESOLVED by the city council of the Citer of South Sah Francisco that it is
the intention of said city council to abandon and dtscontinue~ as a park, a'll that
certain tract or parcel of land situate in the city of South an Francisco, County of
San Marco, State of California, and particularly described as follows, to-wit:
BEGINNING at a point which bears north 14° lit east, 350.09 feet from the in -
tersection of the centerline of Eucalyptus Avenue with~the north line of Miller Avenue,
as said avenues are st~ow= on that certain map entitled, "Map of South San Francisco,
Plat No. 1," recorded March l, 1892. in Vol. 2 of Maps at page 52, San Marco County
Records; r~mning thence north 9° 45~ east 532.76t; thence south 8~o 08' east 18.70
feet; thence on a curve t~ the right, having a radius of 225.00 feet and a central angle
of 19° 24'. a distance of ?6.lB feet; tnemee tangent to said curVe south 69° 40' east
113.4~ feeg; then~'e on a curve to t~a~ right, having a radius of 125.00 feet and ~
central angle of 106° 02'~, a distance of 231.33 feet; thence tangent to said last cUrVe
south 36° 22t west 13.74 feet; thence on a curve to the lrft, having a rgdius of 350.00
of2 12', a distance of 160.05 feet; thence tangent to said
feet, and ~ central angle 6°
last curve south 10° 10' west 71.lB feet; thence on a curve t~ t~e left having a radius
of 450.00 feet, a central angle of 16° 00' and Whose cnor& bears south ~o 10' west 125.25
feet, a distance of 125.86 feet; thence north 74o 2?' west 268.74 feet to the point of
beginning; containing 3.335 acres, mox~or less.
Said city council hereby finds that said tract of land is not appropriate, con-
venient or necessar~ for park purposes; that suc~ purported pa~k has not been used by
the public for pa~k purposes; t~at no consideration has been paid 'therefor except by
said municipal corporation; and that no public funds have been expended to improve the
same as a park.'
Said city council hereby fixes the 15th day of December, 1941,' at the hour of
8:00 o'clock p. me, in the council chamber of said city council, in t~e city of South
San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, as the time and place w~n and
where said city council will meet to take final action upon the proposition to abandon
and discontinue such purported park.
This resolution of intention snail be published once a week for three (3)
successive weeks prior to said 15th day of December, 1941, in.~he Enterprise", a news-
paper of general circulation published in said City of South ~an Francisco. ~
The city clerk is hereby directed to cause this resolution to be published
in said newspaper, in the manner and form required by law and by this resolution.
The city engineer is hereby directed to post this resolution conspicuously
along the boundaries of the land hereinbefore described, which land i~s the purported
park proposed to be abandoned, not less than one hundred (]00.)feet spart, but not less
than fou~ (~) in all.
This resolution is adopted in pursuance of t~at certain act of the legis-
lature of the State of California entitled "An act to authorize municipal corporations
to abandon parks and sell and convey the land embraced therein", Statutes of 1939,
Chapter ll0V.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the city council of the city of South San Francis.co,. this l~th day of
November, 1941, by the following vote:~
