A RESOLUTION OF T]~ CITY COUNCIL OF '£I~E CiTY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PROVIDING FOR HOLDING
A GENERAL I~UNICIPAL ELECTION IN SAID CITY ON
TI~E 14tn day of APRIL, 1942.
RESOLVED by the city council of the city of South San Francisco that, for t~e
purpose of holding the general municipal election in said city on the l~th day of
April, 1~2, as provided by law, said city be, and the same hereby is divided into sevc
(7) election precicnts to be known as Voting Precinct A, Voting Precinct B~ Voting
Precinct C, Voting Precinct D, Voting Precinct E, Voting Precinct F, Voting Precinct
respective ly.
Voting Precinct A shall include all the territory described in South San ~¥an-
cisco Precinct No. I and South San Francisco Precinct No. ~, as establisaed by that
certain resol~ution entitled "REsolution and order dividing~ the County of San ~ateo~
California, into election precincts and establishing_, boundaries t!~reof," passed and
adopted by t~e Board of Supervisors of t~e County of San ~Iateo, California, December
2, l~l, and recorded in Volume ~8 of the minutes of said Board of Supervisors at page
147 et seq., ard the polling place for said Voting Precinct A sl~all be in Daly's
Garage at Locust Avenue and Fourth Lane, in said City of South San Francisco.
Voting Precinct B shall include all tl~e territory described in South San Fran-
cisco Precinct No. 2 and South San Francisco Precinct No. 3, as established by said
resolution of the Board of Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and tf~e polling
place for said Voting Precinct B shallb e in Parenti's Garage, at No. 123 Orange Avenue
in said City of South San Francisco.
Voting Precinct C saall include all tl~e territory described in South San ?ran-
cisco Precinct No. 8 and South San Francisco Precinct ~'~o. ~, as established by said
resolution of the Board of Supervisors of said County of San ~ateo. and the polling
place ~or said Voting Precinct C sf~all be in Cavassa's ~arage, at ~o. ~78 Baden
Avenue, in said City of South San Francisco.
Voting Precinct D s~ll include all the territory described in South San ±~ran-
cisco Precinct No. 7 and South San Francisco Precinct ~o. 8, as established by said
resolution of the Board of Supervisors of said County of San ~,~ateo, and the polling
place for said Voting Precinct D shall be in Roccucci's Garage, at No. $~1 ~,,.~aple Avenue
in said City of South San i'~rancisco.

Precinct 12, South San Francisco Precinct No. 14, as establisi~ed by said resolution
of the Board of Supervisors of said County of San ~,~ateo, and t~e polling place for
said Voting Precinct G shall be in Bottini's Garage at no. 833 Linden Avenue, in said
City of South San Francisco.

Voting Precinct E shall include all the territory desceibed in South San Fran-
cisco Precinct No. 10, South South San i~ancisco Precinct No. lZ, as establis~ed by
said resolution of the Board of Supervisors of said County of San ~..,~ateo, and the poll-
ing place for said Voting Precinct E shall be in Volonte's Real Estate Office at No.
~ Linden Avenue, in said City of South San Francisco.

At said general municipal election the polls in each of said Voting Precincts
shall be opened at six (6) o'clock A. M. of the day of election and ~hall be ~,'ept open
until seven (V) o'clock p. m. of said day, when the polls shall be closed.
A sufficient nuzmber of ballots shall be and is hereby directed to be prepared.
and caused to be printed for said precincts as provided by law and upon the proper kind of
paper, to-wot: The same as used at the general elections in the State of California, by the
clerk of the City of South San Francisco and shall be furnished and provided for the use of
the voters at said general election. The city clerk is hereby also directed to procure the
necessary voting booths and see that they are properly erected and to secure all necessary
election materials and supplies required by law.
Said city clerk is hereby directed to ~mv notice of said election by publication
thereof once in "The Enterprise", a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated
in said city, in the manner and form required b~? law.
I hereby certify tlmt the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by tf~e city council of tae city of South San Francisco, this 5tn day of Earch, 194~, by the
following vote:
