A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING T~E EXECUTION OF
AN AGREEMENT WITH UNION PAVING COMPANY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
SIDEWALK, CURB AND GUTTER.
RESOLVED by the city council of the city of South San Francisco that said city enter
into a contract with Union Paving company, a corporation, for the construction of sidewalk,
curb and gutter upon the northerly side of the portion of Hillside Boulevard, in said city~
situate between Linden Avenue and Arden Avenue,, upon whic~ portion of Hillside Boulevard
the land, in which the city and County of San Francisco has a right of way for the mainte-
nance of water pipe, fr. onts..
All SUCh sidewalk, curb and gutter shall be constructed in strict accordance with the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted for said work by said city council and now on
file in the office of the city clerk, and under the supervision and to the satisfaction of
the city engineer of said city. r
Upon the completion of the work herein provided for, said city of South San Francisco
agrees to pay to said Union Paving Company° the sum of One Hundred and Sixty-three and 91.100
Dollars ($163.91).
The mayor c~ said citYFand the city clerk are hereby authorized and directed, in behalf
of said city of South San rancisco and under its seal, to execute the contract herein autho~-
ized, it being understood that sUCh contract is the contract to be executed by said Union
Paving Company with other owners of land f~ntlng upon the portion of Hillside Boulevard
situate between Linden Avenue and Arden Avenue.
~ hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the city council of the city of South san Francisco, this l'.~th day of May, 19~2, by the
following vote:
