RESOLUTI ON ~CALLING FOR BIDS ~R AUT0~0BILE

RESOLVED by the city council of the city of South San Fran~,isco that public interest
and convenience require that said city purchase a new automobile for the use of said mttyo
The city clerk of said city is hereby directed to publish by two (2) insertions in
~The Enterprise", a newspaper of general circulation orinted and published in the City of
South San Francisco, the following notice inviting sealed proposlas or bids for such auto-
mobile:

Sealed proposals will be received by the city council of the city of South San
Francisco until 8:00 o'clock p. m. on ~,~onday, the 17th day of Augmst, 19~2, for furnishing
to said city, for use by said city, an automobile t~uck to correspond with the following
re quirement s:
Ford truck, model 194~, having a 158 ine~ wheel base, closed cab and eight (8)
cylinder engine and equipped with bust type clutch, frame reinforcement, dual rear wheels,
with 5~ inch b~ 8 inch l0 ply tires all around, heavy duty overload springs, a Gar-?~ood
dump body of ~- yards capacity and a Gar-~.'~ood hoist.
Sealed proposals or bids will be delivered to the city council on or before 8:00
o' clock p. m. on ~tonday, the 17th day of August, 19~2. All sealed proposals or bids will
be opened by said city council in public session, on ~'ionday, the 17th day of August, 19~2,
at 8:00 o' clock p. m. in the council chamber of said cit~y council. The city coun~cil here-
by reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
