on the 14th day of ~eptember, 1942, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals

All sa!d work stroll be done at the locations shown upon the plans hereinafter mentioned
and strictly in accordance with the plans and specifications adopted for said work m~d now on
file in the o~z~ce of the city clerk. All such work a~t tke materials to be used in con:.:ection
therewith shall be furnished trader the direction ar.d to the satisfaction of the works er.~gineer
of said. city.
The mayor an5. the city clerk are hereby authorized amd.. directed, in the name of said
city and under its seal, to execute the contract herel~~ awarded. Such contract shall strict-
ly comply with the re$~irements imposed upon the successz%t! bidder in the notice inviting
sealed proposals for excavatir~ channels for Co]~na Creel. between Linden Avenue and Orange
Avenue, in the city of South San Francisco, and with al! other requirements prescribed by
~aw with respect to the perfozanance of public work by contractors.
