All said work shall be done at the location shown uton the plans and specifications for said work, now on file in the office of the city clerk, and here!fy adopted as the plans and specifications for said wo~. Ail suc~ r~ork and materials to be used in com-~ection there'with shall be fu~ished under the direction sa~d to the satisfaction of the works engineer of said city. NOTICE I~ArITiNG SEAI.R'D PROPOSALS FOR TP[E CONSTRUCTION OF A BRIDGE ACROSS BADEN CRE:~_~, iN TI~ CiTY 0F SAN PR~IC I~O, Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals or bids will be received by the city council of the city of south San Francisco on ~tonday, the 28th day of September, 1942, until the hour of ei~t o'clock p. m. for the doing of the following public work of said city, ti-wit: The construction of a bridge across Baden Creek. All the work herein provided for shall be done at the location shown upon tb~ plans hereinafter mentioned and strictly in accordance with the plans and specifications~ here- to fore adopted for such work. All such work and the materials used in connection there- eith shall be furnished under the direction and to the saEisfaction of tb~ works engineer of said city. It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any sub-contractor under him, to pay not less t~han the specified rates to all laborers, workmen~ and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract. The contractor shall forfeit as penalty to the city of South SanFrancmsco' Ten Dollars (~10.00) for each laborer, workman or mechanic employed, for each calendar day, or portion thereof, such laborer, wor!~nan or mechanic Rs paid less than said stipulated rates for any work clone reader said contract, by him, or by any sub-contractor under him.
