RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO GRANTING PERMISSION TO PIETRO UCCELLI
TO CONSTRUCT A SEWER IN TAMARACK LANE.
RES~VE~ by the city council of the city of South San Francisco that permission be·
and the same is hereby granted to Pietro Uccelli, of said $ity of South San Francisco, to
lay, construct, and maintain in tamarack Lane a water pipe for the purpose of supplying
water to property now owned by said Pietro Uccelli and bowering upon said Tamarack Laue,
and for no other purpose.
~aid water pipe shall not be laid in said Tamarack Lane until a place for laying .t~he'
same s~all have previously been designated by the Works Engineer of the City of South
San F~ancisco. Said pipe shall be laid at no other place in said Tamarack Lane than that
desigaated and small be laid to the depth and in t~e manner, which may be required by said
Works Engineer. Said Piet~o Uccelli shall, at his own cost and expense, restore any pave-
ment now constructed in said Tamarack Lane, or htereafter to be constructed therein, in
such condition as may be required under the regulations of said City of South San F~an-
cisco where the surface of any public highway is opened for the purpose of laying pipe in
such highway, and u~der direction and to the satisfaction of the Works Engineer of said
City·
Said water pipe shall be constx~Acted at auc~ place and in such manner as not to in-
terfere in any way with the use of any portion of said Tamarack Lane as a public highway.
Said Pietro Uccelli shall, at all times, keep and save said city of South Sam
cisco free and harmless .by reason of any liability whatsoever which may ~ise on account
of the paying or maintenance or repair of such water pipe in said Tamarack Lane.
The pex~ission hereby given is understood to be revocable at any time when, in the
opinion of the city council of said city of South San Francisco, public interest and con-
venience may require that such water pipe be no longer allowed to remain in said Tamarack
Lane ·
I hereby codify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by t~e city council' of the city of South San Francisco this 4 day of January, 1943, by the
