HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 885-1943No, 88,5 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DECLARING ITS I~ENTION TO CAUSE A BILL TO BE INTRODUCED IN THE LEGISLATURE TO GIVE RELIEF TO FLOOD CONDITIONS IN COLMA CREEK. WHEREAS the City of South San l~aucisco intends to cause a bill to be introduced in the Legislature, which bill is to be designated to give relief to the flood con- ditions in Ool~a Creek and adjacent territory resulting from erosion of lands draining into Colma Creek; and WHEREAS it is contemplated that this bill W~ll be of such scope and character as to be applicable to simtla~ conditions in other parts of ,the State of California; Resolved by the city council of the City of South San Francisco t~at the Peninsula Division of the League of California cities be, and the said Division is hereby re- quested to endoree the purpose of the proposed bill end to support the enactment of such a measure. - O- 0-0-0-0- O- O-- O- 0-0- I hereby certify t~at the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by t~e city council of the city of South San l~rancisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, on the 18th day of January, lg43, by the follow- ing vote: Ayes, Councilmen VictOr Boido, George W.
