RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEED ~F RIGHT OF WAY FROM
E. H. EDWARDS COMPANY
RESG~VED by rue city council of the city of South San Francisco t~at said
City of South San Francisco hereby accepts that certain deed wherein E. H. Edwards
Company, a corporation, organized and existing under the laws of 'the State of California,
conveys to said city a right of way for the construction and maintenance of a public
street or highway over and upon all that certain tract of land hereinafter described,
subject, however, to the agreement on the pa~t of said city contained in said deed.
The land hereinbefore described consists of all t~at certain tract or parcel
of land situate in the city of SoutAh San Francisco~ County of San Mateo, State of
California, and particularly described as ~follows, to-wit:
Beginning at a point in t~e Southerly line of Butler Road distant thereon N.
S?° 04' E 107.29 feet from the most Westerly corner of that certain 1.499 acre tract
conveyed by South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company, a California corporation,
to E. H. Edwards Company, a California corporation; by deed recorded June 4, 1923 in
Volume 77 of Official Records at page 202, San Mateo County Records.
Thence from said point of beginning on and along the southerly line of Butler
Road also being t~e northwesterly line of the above described 1.499 acre parcel, N 81°
~-.'. 16~" E 369.12 feet-to t~e most Nort~erl~ corne~ thereof; thence continuing on an
along the Southerly line of said road N 87° 04' E 763.78 feet to the most Northerly come
of that certain 4.709 acre tract conveyed by South San Francisco Land and Improvement
Company~ a California c_crpo~ation, to E. H. Edwards, by deed recorded March 23, 1928 in
Volume 344 of OfficialEececords at page 331, San Mateo County Records, said last mentioned
corner also being the most westerly corner of that certain 1.823 acre parcel of land con-
veyed by Kunze Lime and Materials Company, a corporation, to South San Francisco Land and
Improvement Company, a corporation, by deed recorded August 16, 1934, in Volume 632 of
Official Records at page 50, San Mateo County Records; thence on amialong the westerly li
of the said 1.823 acre parcel S 3° 48' 30" E l0 feet; thence S 8?° 04' W 763.76 feet to a
point in the Northeasterly line of the above described 1.499 acre tract; thence S 83° 00'
33" W 36?.42 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing 0.217 acres.
And being a portion of the above mentioned 1.499 acre parcel.
Also beXng a portion of that 0.421 acre parcel conveyed by South San Francisco
Lam~i and Improvement Company,. a corporation, to E. H. Edwards Company, a corporation, by
deed recorded December 2?, 1937 in Volume 772 of Official Records at page 20§, San Mateo
County Re co rds.
Also being a portion of the above mentioned 4.709 acre tract.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted~by the city council of the city of South San Francisco, this i day of February,
1943, by the following vote:
