RES0gYJTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
0F~ SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHOHIZING THE FILING
OF A DISCLAI~ER
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco has been served as a Defendant in an action
to condemn certain lands in the County of San Mateo, which action is now pending in the
District Court of ,the United States in and for the Norther~ District of California, Southezu
Division, entitled therein, "United States of America, Plaintiff vs. Certain Parcels of Lar~
in South San Francisco, San Mateo CoUnty, California, South San Francisco Land and Improvem.
Company, et al., Defendants," No. 22374-W, and
WHEREAS, possession of the lands subject of said action was taken by the United Stat.
on t~e 19th day of November, 19~2~, and since Said day t~e United States has been in possessl
of said lands, and
WHEREAS, it appears taat the City of South San Francisco has no interest in the land
subject of said action, as described in the Complaint on file' in said action, and t~e Tax
Collector of South San Francisco advises t~at there are no existing liens for taxes against
the lands subject 0£ said action,
N0~¥, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOEVED that said City of South San Francisco has and makes n
claim to any title or interest in or to said lands subject of said action, or any compensat
whicn~may hereafter be awarded for the taking theze0f, and t~e City Attorney is hereby direc
and authorized to file an appropriate Disclaimer in t~e above entitledsction.
The foregoing ResolUtion was introduced by Councilman G. W. Holston, who moved its
adoption, seconded by Councilman M. Minucciani, and said Resolution was adopted on roll cai
by t~e following vote:
Councilman V. Boido, G. W. Holston, Reese LlOyd, M. Minucciani, D. W. Ratto
Absent, Councilman None
Noes: None
Ayes: All councilmen
