RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of South San Francisco taat public interst and convenience require ~tnat said city purchase a Ford truck for use by said City. The truck to be purchased by said city may be a used truck. The dity 01erk is hereby direct. ed to publish, by two (2) insertions in the Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulati. printed and published in the city of South San Francisco, a notice inviting sealed pro- posals or bids for furnishing such truck, in substantially the following manner: NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS OR BIDS FOR ~JRNISHING A FORD TRUCK TO TIlE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANC ISCO Sealed proposals will he received by t~e city of South San Francisco until 8 o' clo~m p. m. on Monday, the 21st day of June, 1943, for furnishing to said City a used Fo~d hruck. Such Ford truck shall be one complying with t~e following requirements: model 1938, 8 cylinder engine, 158 inch wheelbase, closed cab, equipped with dump body, capacity 3 yards water level, heavy duty hoise, with 32 by 6 - l0 ply front ti~es aDxt 750 by 20 rear tires; suca truck shall have dual wheels, heavy duty overload springs, shovel hooks on body, a fish-plated frame, a binder on one side and hook on otaer, with body hooks all around. All sealed proposals or bids will be opened by said City Council in public session on Monday, t~e 21st day of June, 1943, at 8 O'clock p. m. in t~e Council Chamber of said City Council.
