RESOLUTION ADDING NE~! SECTION TO ORDINANCE
NO. 137- ZONING ORDINANCE
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said
City Council hereby refers to the Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco
a proposit,ion to amend ordinance No. 137 of the City of South San Francisco entitled:
"An ordinance establishing industrial, business and residential districts in the City
of South San Francisco and expressly repealing O~dinance No. 117 of the City of South San
Francisco," passed May 4~ 1925, by adding t~ereto a new section, which shall read as
follows:
Section 3 1/2. Notwithstanding anything contained in sections 1, 2 and 3
of-~said ordinance No. 137, all the territory of said City of South San Francisco next
hereinafter described is hereby declared and determined to be a residential district in
said city. The territory hereinbefore referred to is designated as follows: Commencing
at the intersection of the northerly line of Railroad Avenue with the center line of
Linden Avenue; thence at right angles notherly along the center line of Linden Avenue
to the center line of Commercial Avenue produced easterly; t~ence at right angles east-
erly along the center line of Commercial Avenue produced easterly to the center line of
Cypress Avenue produced southerly; thence notherly along t~e center line of Cypness
Avenue, as produced southerly, to t~e center line of Baden Avenue; thence easterly along
the center line of Baden Avenue to the westerly line of Bays~ore Highway; tf~ence south-
ePly along the westerly line of Ba~shore Highway tothe notherly line of Baden Avenue,
as produced easterly; thence westerly along the northerly line of Railroad Avenue, as
produced easterly, to the cen~er line of Linden Avenue and apoint of beginning.
Said planning commission is hereby required to c6nsider said proposed amend-
ment to said Ordinance No. 137 and make a tentative report thereon and to hdd a public
hearing thereon on the 28th d ay of February, 1944, and thereafter make and submit a
final report thereon to said City Council. ,
