HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 924-1944NO. 924 RESOLUTION ~J~ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 137 RESOLVED by the city council of the City of 'South San Francisco that said City Council hereby referes to the Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco a proposition to amend ordinance No. 137 of the City of South San Francisco ~entitled: "An ordinance establishing industrial, business and residential districts in the City of South San Francisco and expressly repealing ordinance No. ll7 of the City of South San Francisco," passed May 4, 1925, by adding thereto a news section, which shall read as follows: Section 3 1/2. Notwithstanding anything contained in sections 1, 2 and 3 of said ordinance No. 137, all the territory of said City of South San Francisco next -hereinafter described is hereby declared and determined to be a residential district in said city. The territory hereinbefore referred to is designated as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the northerly line of Railroad Avenue with the center line of Linden Avenue; thence at right angles northerly along the center line of Linden Avenue to the center line of Commercial Avenue produced easterly; thence at right angles easterly along the center line of CommerCial Avenue produced east- eriy to the center line of Cypress Avenue produced southerly; thence n~nerly along the center line of Cypress Avenue, as produced southerly, to the center line of ~aden Avenue; thence easterly along the center line of Baden Avenue to the westerly line of Bayshore Highway; thence southerly along the westerly line of Bay- shore Highway to the northerly line of Baden Avenue, as produced easterly; thence westerly along the norhterly line of Railroad Avenue, as produced easterly, to the center line of Linden Avenue and point of beginning. Said Planning Commission is hereby required to consider said proposed amend- ment to said Ordinance No. 137 and make a tentative report thereon and to hold a public hearing thereon on the 3z~i ~ay of'March, 1944, and thereafter make and submit a final report thereon to said city council. - O- O- O- O- O- O- O- O- O- I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the city.council of the. city of South San Francisco, California, this 28th day of Februar~y, 1944, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido~ Geo.
