RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING MEMORANDDT~ OF
AG~ENT FOR ACCLU~ULATION OF 1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED
FOR STREETS OF ~.~AJOR I.~PORTANCE.
WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented to be entered
into with the State of California for accumulation of the 1/4 cent tax for the fiscal
year 1945 allocated for streets of major importance other than-the State highways in the
City of South San/i~Fra~iSco~..~a~; ~
WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said agreement in full and
is familiar with the contents thereof;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of South
San Francisco that, under the provisions of Sections 200 of the Streets and Highways
Code, the 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for the streets of major importance other than
State highways be accumulated for future expenditure, and that said agreement be and
the same is hereby approved, and the mayor and the city clerk are directed to sio~n the
same on behalf of said city, said agrement to be Oinding upon the city upon its
excution by the authorized officials of the State.
ADOPTED this 3rd. day of July, 1944
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
passed by the city council of the City of South San Francisco at the regular.meeting
thereof held July 3, 1944~ by the following vete.
