RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
Francisco t~at the ce~ain resolution adopted by said City Council
on the 15th day of September, 1944, be, and the same hereby is
amended so that said resolution, as amended, shall read as follows:
Resolved by the City Council of the City of South
Francisco that permission be, and the same hereby is granted to
the United States Navy to construct and install a twenty-fou~
inch sewer in Tanforan Avenue under U. S, Navy contract NCc9450,
subject to. the following conditions:
le That the grade of said sewer be lowered so as to
eliminate the proposed syphon under t~e conduit of
the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Companye
2. That t~e proposed manhole in said sewer be located
east of the existing pavement on San Mateo Avenue
and be constructed to a proper depth as a drop man-
hole to accommodate the future interceptor sewer
from the no, the
3e That the Navy Department cooperate with the City of
South San Francisco in constructing au outfall sewer~
pumping plaut, and force main to carry the sewage
from San Marco Avenue easterly to a point near the
northeasterly corner of Bel Air Island.

I hereby oertil~y that the foregoing resolution was re-
gularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, this 18th day of September, 1944, by
