CONTRACT WIT~ L. C. SMITH FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF HILLSIDE BOULk~VARD
RES0~MED by t~e city council Of the city of South San Francisco t~at said
city enter into a contract with L. C. Smith to grade to a uniform depth of three
inches, as shown on the plans prepared by the Works Engineer of said city, and
pave with three inches of plant mtz surfacing the norhterly side of Hillside
Boulevard from Linden Avenue to 'Arden Avenue between the existing curb, an area
of approximately ll,000 aquare feet. For said work said city s~all pay to said
L. C. Smith the sum of Nine Hundred and Eighty Nine Dollars ($989.00) upon com-
pletion thereof. Said city shall furnish to said L.C. Smith a roller with
operator and a water wagon, when needed in said work.
All said wor~ shall be done in.strict accordance with t~e provisions of
Section 28 of the Standard Specifications of the Department of Public Works,
Division of Highways, and to the satisfaction of the said Works Engineer.
The Mayor and City C. ler. k are hereby autnorized to execute a contract with said
L. C. Smith in behalf of said city, in accordance with this resol~lon.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by t~e city council of the city of Sout~ San F~ancisco this 2nd day of
October, 1944, by the following vote:
