RESOLUTION OF~VARD IMPROVEMENT EDISON AVENUE
WHEREAS by city council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session,
on the 2nd day of October, 1944, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed pro-
posals or bids for doing the sewer construction work provided for in the resolution
adopted on the 18th day of September, 194~, which work is hereinafter described, to
which ~esolution reference is hereby made for further particularse
RESOLVED t~at said City Council hereby r~Jects all said proposals or bids except
t~at next hereinafter mentioned and hereby awards the contract for doing said work
to tt~e lowest responsible bidder, to-wit: Paris Brothers, a copartnership consisting
of Fred F. Paris and Leon A. Paris, at the prices named in their bid, to-wit:
21 inch diameter concrete pipe storm sewer,~$4.48 cents per lineal foot; one
brick manhole with cast iron frame and cover, $100.00. The length of the storm
sewer to be constructed is to be 525 feet.
The work, for whic~ the contract is hereby awarded to said Paris Brothers con-
sists of the following:
The construction of a storm water sewer in Edison Avenue southerly from the
northerly line of Randolph Avenue to the existing catch basin at the intersection
of said Edison Av~eu wit~ Hillside Boulevard.
All s aid work shall be done at the location shown upon the plans hereinafter
mentioned and stridaly in accordance with the plans a~d specifications adopted on the
18th day of September, 1944, for said work. All said work and t~e materials used in
connection therewith shall b e furnished under the direction and to the satisfaction
of the Works Engineer of said city.
The contract for said work shall be entered into and said work shall be performed
in strict accordance with t~e provisions of tt~e notice inviting sealed proposals
or bids for tt~e construction-of a storm water sewer in Ed ts onAvenue in the City of
South San Francisco, whic~ said notice froms a part of the resolution hereinbefore
mentioned.
The Mayor of said city and tt~e City Clerk are hereby auti~orized and directed in
the name of said city and under its seal, to execute the contract herein authorized.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopt-
~ed by the city council of the city of South San Francisco to_is 2nd day of October,
