PERMIT TO DUMP RAW SEWAGE
RESOLVED by t~e city council of t~e city of South San Francisco, that pur-
suant and subject to all terms, cbnditions ar~ provisions of the Public Health Act of
the State of California, appr~ve~ March 23, 1907, ar~ all amendments thereto, application
by this city be made to the State Board oF Public Health of the State of California, for
a permit to dump raw sewage from the cities of San Bx,~no and South San Francisco and from
the Lomita Park Sanitary District and t~e San Bruno Naval Advanced Personnel Base into
San Francisco Bay at a point approximately three thousand (9,000) feet easterly from the
Bayshore Highway at the confluence of Navigable Slough and the Belair Shipyard turning
bas in.
It is proposed to build a~ intercept~ sewer in San B~uno and South San
Francisco to connect with an outfall sewer from said San Bruno Naval Advanced Personnel
Base, which will discharge into a sump and that sewage be pumped through a twenty (20)
inch force main for a distance of four thousand (4,000) feet, more or less, to the pint
of discharge into San Francis6o Bay.
Be it further resolved that the mayo~ of said city of South San Francisco
be, and he is hereby authorized and directedto cause the necessary data to be prepared
and investigations to be made, and in the name of said city to sign and file such
application with the said State Board of Public Health.
