REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACT FOR THE 306 SPRUCE AVENUE EXTERIOR
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT TO HIPSHER CONSTRUCTION,
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $328,861.00 AND APPROVING AN
AMENDMENT TO THE 1999-2000 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM BUDGET (CIP 00-10) TO ADD $61,000 TO THE 306
SPRUCE EXTERIOR IMPROVEMENT BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City desires to award the construction contract for the 306 Spruce
Avenue Exterior Improvements Project to the lowest responsible bidder, Hipsher Construction,
Inc. in the amount of $328,861.00; and
WHEREAS, the project is budgeted and will be paid from the Downtown/Central
Redevelopment Area budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of
South San Francisco that the Redevelopment Agency hereby awards the construction contract for
the 306 Spruce Avenue Exterior Improvements Project to Hipsher Construction, Inc. in the
amount of $328,861.00 and approves an amendment to the 1999-2000 Capital Improvement
Program budget (No. 00-10) to add $61,000 to the 306 Spruce Exterior Improvement Project
budget with funding from the Downtown Central Redevelopment Fund
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 14th
day of June ,2000 by the following vote:
AYES: Boardmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Eugene R. Mullin and John R. Penna,
Vice Chair Joseph A. Fernekes and Chair Karyl Matsumoto
NOES: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
ABSENT: None.
